A collaborative creation of an exactly replicated doorway from The Old Library in Cardiff to commemorate The Royal Welsh College’s acquisition of the building. My team focused on the figures and their plinths and my jobs entailed; body casting, hot wire poly-foam carving, resin draping and moulding, scenic painting and breakdown work. Constantly referring to the reference was important for the rendering job as we had to take into account which areas were different kinds of stone, natural weathering, areas of sun bleaching, and grime build up.
